aa-haári aahiata

aahi,  s. the fish called albicore; it agrees with the mackarel, but is much larger. The young ones are called aahi perepererau; the next size, aahi tumu; the next, aahi mapepe; the next, aahi vere; the largest of all, aahi araroa.
